Rappelling/Canyoneering Option:

Explore the vastness of Zion National Park on a canyoneering adventure. Canyoneering is the exploration of canyons using a variety of techniques that may include hiking, scrambling, climbing, jumping, rappelling, wading, bridging and more. 

This an excellent way to see all the beauty of the Zion area. The Rappelling and Canyoneering takes place in East Zion (outside the national park) and is the  the ultimate rappelling and slot canyon adventure. You instantly enter the world of slot canyons, with a single rappel up to 130 feet high!  From sandstone walls curving and undercutting all around you, the feeling is overwhelming. 

4x4 Option:

This tour begins in the Kanab/Mt Carmel area of East Zion (outside the national park) and we will go past the Elkheart Cliffs. You'll want to have your camera ready as we drive through the dunes surrounded by cedars and sagebrush, before turning into a gravel wash. Only a few miles later, we will end up at an incredible slot canyon that was carved out of the mountains over millions of years. A short hike is included, along with history and geology about the area.

  • Under 18 must have parent/guardian present

 

Car Rental requirements/policies:

You must be 21 or older to drive the rental vehicle 
If you are under 25, there is an additional fee of $27.99 
If you plan to have more than one Authorized Driver, there is an additional fee of $10.67 per driver. Additional Driver's must have Valid Driver's License. 
Person renting the vehicle must have Valid Driver's License AND a Credit Card (in DRIVER'S NAME) for the vehicle deposit. A hold of $200 will be put on the credit card. NO CASH DEPOSITS. 
Infant-Toddler-Booster Seats available for an additional fee of $13. Please choose type when making reservation to guarantee the correct child seat is available for your tour package. 
Vehicle must be returned full of gas.
Shuttle Service may be available at the end of your adventure, but you must check with the Hertz counter at the time you get your rental vehicle 
Vehicle must be returned full of gas.
It is not guaranteed that shuttle service is available at any time, it is your responsibility to arrange for transportation back to your hotel
The Hertz Rental at the Hard Rock Hotel closes at 5 pm. If you are returning your vehicle after that time, there is a drop box located on the 7th Floor of the Hard Rock Hotel Parking Garage.
