Grand Canyon Whitewater Rafting-(REB)

ABSOLUTE BEST WHITEWATER ADVENTURE! This tours combines a ground tour of Hoover Dam, Historical Route 66, and the Hualapai Nation at the Grand Canyon, with an exhilarating White Water Trip on the mighty Colorado River!! After picking you up at your hotel, our first stop is Hoover Dam, where you’ll have some time to take pictures before heading off towards Kingman, Arizona. We’ll be driving on historical Route 66 on our way to the American Indian Hualapai Lodge. Here you’ll fill out waivers before taking a short drive down the Colorado River, where you’ll get your life jacket, watertight camera box, and safety orientation. Board the raft and get ready for pure excitement, as you traverse 40 miles along this awesome river. You’ll shoot rapids like “Dragon Tooth”; stop at Travertine Canyon (including a hike to the waterfalls), accompanied by authentic Indian Guides, with the walls of the canyon towering above you. At the end of your raft trip, you’ll enjoy a Helicopter Ride back to the West Rim of the Canyon. Here you may see Big Horn Sheep, Wild Mustangs, Burros and more. A drive through the Joshua Tree Forest on your return trip rounds out this adventure.

You will get wet! During early and late season, especially on days when it is not hot in the canyon or on very windy days, being wet will cause you to be chilled. We highly recommend you bring a hooded rain parka.

On rare, extremely windy days, for safety concerns, the helicopter may not be flying and will not be available to fly you out of the canyon up to the West Rim. On such windy days the rafters will continue on with the rafting guides out into Lake Mead to their daily exit location. There rafters will be picked up by van or coach for the return to Las Vegas.
